Young Adults
It is Melanie’s desire to create a safe space where young people can receive encouragement, learn to understand their thoughts, give voice to their feelings, develop tools to resolve conflict, learn appropriate social skills, and navigate relationships with a wide variety of people.
Parenting & Families
Family relationships and dynamics can be challenging and parenting is often best described as a messy and bittersweet privilege. Melanie’s teaching background combined with her focused studies during graduate school have prepared her to help. Whether establishing appropriate disciplinary strategies, navigating co-parenting or blended family issues, Melanie can prayerfully walk with you through your parenting journey.
Adolescents
Today’s teens are experiencing unprecedented stress resulting in record levels of anxiety and depression. In addition to normal adolescent challenges, their worlds have been turned upside down by the global pandemic. Providing a safe place for them to process their feelings and discuss their losses is more important than ever.
